This Privacy Policy explains how ScreenFox ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable German law.
Waitlist (website): If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address.
Server logs (website): Our hosting provider may automatically log your IP address, browser type, and access time for technical security purposes.
App usage data: All screen time data, usage history, settings and progress are stored locally on your device only. We have no access to this data.
Subscription data: In-app purchases and subscription status are processed by Apple (App Store) and tracked anonymously via RevenueCat (transaction ID and subscription status only, not linked to personal identity).
Waitlist email addresses are retained until you request deletion or withdraw consent. Server logs are typically retained for up to 7 days. Subscription data is retained as long as required for the service and legal obligations.
Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in NRW: LDI NRW).
